About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Family Campground, Hanscom AFB, MA. This position is a flexible position, may work 0-40 hours per week based on mission/programming requirements. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on weekends, holidays, and special occasions. Candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds and occasionally more.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Prior experience in handling and using simple power equipment and hand tools. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to follow written and/or oral instructions. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must complete a pre-employment physical. Must be physcially able to frequently lift and carry light to medium object weighing 10-30 pounds. May occasionally be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random drug testing for use.
Provides customer service for FamCamp patrons. Registers campers and assigns campsites. Collects fees, operates cash register, prepares daily reports and makes bank deposits. Maintains grounds and interpretive trail, operates weed eater, lawn mower, clears small trees and bushes using handsaws, hatchets or clippers. Makes minor repairs to equipment/facilities.
