You will serve as a Quality Control and Training Specialist for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Capital Access (OCA), Damage Verification Center - DVC in Herndon, VA. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining organizational capability to respond to major physical and economic disasters with centralized disaster loan assistance as provided by Congress, and in accordance with either the President's or Administrator's declaration of disasters.

As a Quality Control and Training Specialist at the GS-1101-12, some of your typical work assignments may include: Implementing all phases of quality assurance and improvement utilizing surveys, workflow studies, reports, and trend analysis. Determining the cause and extent of damages, methods of making repairs, and estimating the cost to repair and replace personal, business and commercial property. Preparing training programs and course materials and serve as an instructor as needed. Utilizing computers and/or mobile devices for instructional purposes in a classroom and to develop training materials and programs.
