Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Multi-Sensors Surveillance Systems Branch (JXWR) or Integrated Counter Unmanned Systems Branch (JXWQ) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the planning and execution of projects, programs, or initiatives by managing project resources and quality deliverables to ensure mission objectives are met. You will serve as a Manager in the Multi-Sensors Surveillance Systems Branch (JXWR) or Integrated Counter Unmanned Systems Branch (JXWQ) providing primarily administrative, technical, logistical, financial, and/or business related services.
You will responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.
You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates; evaluate work performance and provide feedback; ensure employees are selected, utilized, and developed, and treated in a fair and equitable manner.
You will identify solutions and provide guidance and advice to subordinates and to other supervisors and managers.
You will develop and implement long and short term planning for required funding, human resources, facilities and equipment.
You will implement and oversee the organization's project and programmatic policies and procedures, and determine criteria for assessing effectiveness.
