Job Description:
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER in the HOUSING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR STATION.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing management plans concerning the operation of utilization of housing assets, planning, scheduling, and coordinating all major activities for housing projects and facilities; 2) Identifying, organizing, coordinating, and/or monitoring significant and routine maintenance for the facilities for which responsible. You will develop plans (e.g., short-term, long-term) for the construction, renovation, and re-capitalization of housing assets, housing facilities, and other real properties.
You will use office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Word, automated Financial Management System) to generate housing documents.
You will conduct housing surveys to identify and report housing deficiencies requiring new construction, renovation, modernization, or other corrective improvements.
You will monitor housing programs (e.g., family housing, unaccompanied housing) to resolve program issues related to housing operations.
You will communicate with contract personnel on timeliness, financial limits, and expectations of work projects to be performed.
You will create written documents to outline recommendations for modifications or alterations.
