Job Description:

You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the S-6 DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: resolving a variety of unusual telecommunications problems, questions, or situations; developing new approaches and techniques for use by others; AND developing, operating, sustaining, and inspecting telecommunications accounts (i.e. INFO/COMSEC), programs, and equipment. You will be responsible for the administrative oversight of all Communications Security (COMSEC) matters for subordinate commands.
You will develop, operate, sustain, and inspect MCAS Yuma and 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing INFO/COMSEC telecommunications accounts, programs, and equipment.
You will conduct formal COMSEC material inspections of accounts to ensure adequate maintenance of files and equipment are conducted quarterly.
You will ensure the proper installation and management of Secure Telephone Equipment (STE), Tactical Local Area Network Encryption (TACLANE), and other secure voice and data products/equipment are strictly controlled.
You will serve as command COMSEC inspector.
You will develop resources and conduct COMSEC staff assistance visits, command inspections, or related training as needed in support of organizational accounts.
You will review planning data; evaluate requirements for COMSEC services, emergency plans, contingency plans, and standard operating procedures; and recommends facilities and equipment needed.
