Job Description:
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DISA - HC/Operations Support Office.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience performing a wide range data analysis requirements; collecting and analyzing data/information; developing and maintaining effective office systems; reviews and addressing substantive issues impacting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs; experience applying management principles and processes to perform duties and project objectives and recommendations. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.
Analyzes and measures process improvements based on customer feedback to achieve quantum improvements in organization and management efficiency and effectiveness.
Recommends adjustments to policies, programs, projects, and studies to resolve problems and to improve operations and efficiencies in major core processes.
Assists in managing projects designed to develop new/improved procedures and processes, conduct self-assessment results of past achievements.
Supports workforce planning, data gathering and analyses, conducting analytical studies involving key Hosting and Compute Center (HaC) projects.
Places primary emphasis on comprehensive and continuing endeavors to increase productivity, improve management controls, and maximize manpower resources in Hosting and Compute Center (HaC).
Collects, analysis, and evaluates data used in senior level decisions. Maintains contact and liaison between DISA Joint Support Organizations and J-9 stakeholders on matters relating to workforce support, and other assigned programs.
