You will serve as a Manager in the Infrastructure Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer planning and executing facilities and infrastructure technical projects to lead the management of budget and resources while ensuring environmental and safety regulatory compliance for a facilities or infrastructure program. You will apply advanced engineering concepts to plan, develop, and execute comprehensive infrastructure programs and projects.
You will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of robust facilities programs and projects, ensuring they align with DoD, DoN, state, local, and NBVC requirements.
You will implement quality assurance and management evaluations for regulatory compliance, develop alternative solutions to design and engineering challenges, analyze project management data to track progress.
You will conduct technical reviews of facilities planning products to verify objective attainment.
You will resolve complex technical problems and implement improvements to optimize operations, with a focus on continuous process improvement, personnel development, efficient resource utilization, and enhanced maintenance services.
You will collaborate with counterparts to determine the necessary personnel, fiscal, material, and time resources for proposed tasks as directed by the Division.
You will drivie continuous process improvements, enhancing personnel skills, and optimizing the use and replacement of equipment and facilities to develop and market superior maintenance and contracting services
