Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL) in the OMPF RESEARCH AND VERIFICATION UNIT of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the day-to-day operations of a Records Management staff, including workload balancing, quality control, and performance evaluations. You will perform full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties including work planning, assignment, and review, establishing performance standards and evaluation of subordinates.
You will provide administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.
You will be responsible to assign tasks that require OMPF research and verification services to subordinates and review the completed work.
You will effect immediate and unsupervised database changes to the Official Military Personnel File (OMPF) and Electronic Service Record Book (E-Record) for the entire U.S. Marine Corps.
You will utilize a range of internal and internet-based applications to verify the accuracy and consistency of the data present in the OMPF Records Management Application (0-RMA).
