You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT) in the CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE- SOUTHEAST, ALBANY, GEORGIA. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising and resolving HR problems and issues of serviced customers regarding staffing and classification programs. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: consulting organization leadership, providing advice, and guidance to supervisors, managers, and employees at all levels on staffing and classification HR issues affecting the organization; addressing concerns regarding pay, organization, and position design and workforce recruitment and strategies. You will provide management and advisor services to frequent changing organizations to include a wide variety of difficult position and personnel actions.
You will resolve difficult issues/problems requiring consideration of the staffing and classification programs.
You will serve as a consultant to organization leadership, providing advice and guidance to superiors, managers, and employees at all levels on Human Resources (HR) issues affecting the organization.
You will provide direct customer support to assigned commands utilizing specialized knowledge in the areas of recruitment, placement, and pay setting.
You will advise on a full range of recruitment and classification functions and assist management in accomplishing human resources management responsibilities.
