Job Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Environmental Engineer in the Resources and Assessment Branch (EV4), Environmental Production Support Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.
This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Your license or registration must be held in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Managing environmental resource programs while improving processes and driving initiatives; 2) Formulating near- and long-term environmental resource fiscal projections then executing and tracking budgets; 3) Implementing an Environmental Management System including execution of environmental assessments; and 4) Facilitating development and sustainment of a skilled workforce. You will directly supervise GS-12 environmental engineers, and/or program analysts, assign and prioritize work, and establish completion dates for all assigned work.
You will provide consultation services on environmental program management, resources, and community management issues for the EV PSD.
You will be responsible for performing budget formulations, providing support to resolve execution issues, providing support to resource issues, and providing support to community management issues.
You will participate with other NAVFAC Environmental Resource and Assessment managers, clients, and consultants for the purpose of developing improvements in environmental products and services.
