Job Description:

You will serve as a Financial Technician of OFFICER TRAINING COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Examining, verifying, maintaining and reconciling accounts and accounting data; 2) Recommending actions in compliance with financial management laws, regulations, and policies; 3) Communicating orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner; and 4) Responding to pay inquires, reviewing pay debts, and processing adjustments. You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors, and other staff on pay-related rules, regulations, and procedures.
You will determine pay, maintain payroll records, and complete reports pertaining to civilian employees of the Federal Government.
You will reconcile accounts and data, and analyze and prepare financial reports.
You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of information, and compliance with regulations for good and services provided for or by the government.
