Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Specialized Munitions Division (JXR), Asymmetric Warfare Branch (JXRY) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. The salary for this position is capped at the GS-13, Step 10.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing oversight and technical direction in the execution of research, development, and test activities to ensure compliance with program requirements. You will be a member of the Asymmetric Warfare Branch management team, effectively working with other team members to affect branch, division, department, and corporate initiatives.
You will oversee and review technical design and test and evaluation activities of the group.
You will oversee and review acquisition activities of the group and review numerous section projects simultaneously.
You will manage safety requirements related to explosive handling and test, material handling and transportation, machine shop activities, and electronics lab activities.
You will lead recruiting, development, and retention of personnel talent to support mission requirements.
You will interact with and influence internal and external partners to accomplish the branch mission.
