You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the SYSTEMS PRODUCTION & REFURBISHMENT (D35), DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This announcement is capped at the first 50 applicants.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating the adequacy of equipment for such purposes as repair, calibration, and testing by collecting data, interpreting engineering drawings, and designing and analyzing circuits to understand the function and interconnections of the various assemblies and troubleshoot the system. You will serve as a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead that can manage and direct the members of the branch in technical matters.
You will create and maintain all branch documents including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hardware Assembly procedures, Material Inspection procedures, and material rejection letters.
You will lead technical teams or individuals during investigative efforts regarding material conformity exploration.
You will read and interpret engineering drawings to make technical decisions, conducting drawing reviews, determining the correct configuration of deliverables based on specifications provided.
You will ensure workforce in obtaining necessary training and training is kept up to date.
You will effectively plan, communicate, implement, manage, and execute suite production in terms of quality assurance.
You will determine project scope and feasibility, create schedules, assess and assign tasks, track execution of tasks.
You will lead multiple projects, people, teams, integrate different functional areas, promote team cohesion, maintain customer relations.
