This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least three years of general experience, 1 year which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 pay band (GS-04 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying practical quality assurance methods and processes (e.g. interpreting technical data, data analysis, report writing, interpreting regulations) to ensure compliance with contract, quality and technical requirements during the processing, testing, repair, or assembly of systems, subsystems or components. You will develop, implement and maintain effective surveillance plans designed to evaluate contractor product assurance, manufacturing, quality, and processing systems for compliance with contractual requirements.
You will monitor processing operations to ensure contractor and government adherence to processing requirements and assure missile hardware is processed in a consistent manner, and in accordance with approved procedures.
You will perform investigations and analyses of technical and quality systems, hardware and documentation, including data collection for trend analysis to determine the cause(s) of discrepancies/deficiencies and the initiation of corrective actions.
You will evaluate government systems and procedures associated with handling, transportation, and storage of ready for issue missiles processed, and the on-load and offload of missiles to submarines at the Explosive Handling Wharves.
You will verify performance and results of nondestructive tests of parts, assemblies and material, to assure conformance with applicable standards, specifications and requirements.
You will participate with resolution of safety problems and security concerns with appropriate contractor and government personnel, evaluating corrective action, and performing follow up surveillance to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
You will ensures requirements for packing, packaging and preservation of accepted products are complied with and subsequent transfer to storage areas, shipment to the Fleet, or other activities are in compliance with applicable requirements.
