Job Description:

You will serve as a Customer Advocate in the Cooperative Engagement Capability Office, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Dept of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Engineer evaluating in-service engineering customer requirements to manage project tasks and funding, develop plans, and coordinate the development and delivery of products for a ship warfare program. You will provide command technical project management and advocacy for the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program.
You will conduct financial planning requirements and deliverables definition, establishment of program priorities, and liaison with customers.
You will provide technical oversight of the development and delivery of all products and services related to the CEC program within the department.
You will lead the engineering and logistics team analyzing and solving complex problems.
You will provide leadership in multiple In-Service Engineering and logistics disciplines, executing and administering technical programs and functions with the support of the Department, Division, and subordinate Branch staff.
