Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: military facilities planning principles and processes, including requirements development, project document preparation, site planning, master planning concepts, project/program execution, plan review and construction processes, NEPA environmental considerations, real property accountability. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will supervise employees, time and attendance records, develop performance appraisals plans, rate employees performance, assign work; and counsel and identify training needs for subordinates.
You will implement and manage the Shore Facilities Planning System in accordance with Navy and Marine Corps directive through management and control of Basic Facility Requirements.
You will manage the annual facilities program for military construction, repair and housing projects for all base-wide customers.
You will coordinate the development and preparation of the Station Master Plans and related engineering to support the Base and Directorate's strategic plans.
You will be responsible for budget constraints, customer and environmental concerns as well as other major designs, contract, and construction issues.
