This position will operate under the Rosebud Housekeeping Department in Rosebud, South Dakota. The primary purpose of this position is to operate a variety of motor vehicles to provide transportation services of non-emergent/clinically stable patients, federal personnel, and cargo. This position also serves as a Custodial Worker performing the full range of cleaning tasks in an assigned area, following general instructions on the custodial work to be accomplished.

PHYSICAL EFFORT Moderately heavy physical effort is used occasionally in moving, setting up, working from ladder and scaffolds, in moving of office furniture, supplies and equipment, and unloading cargo; potentially greater than 50 pounds. Use of heavy powered cleaning equipment (wall washers, industrial buffers…) is required, but not on a continual basis. Considerable physical effort may be required to change tires and make limited emergency repairs, such as installing an emergency fan belt or replacing electrical fuses on open highways.
