Job Description:
You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the International Small Combatants (PMS 525) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating the analysis of program or project requirements to develop improvement initiatives or strategies for the modernization, development, or sustainment of surface ship systems or components. You will oversee program resources for multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, which requires leading a team to complete a multitude of tasks with set processes and timelines.
You will perform financial and programmatic analysis; and brief senior leadership on recommendations based on findings.
You will prepare data for presentations or reports on financial goals, objectives, and information to meet programmatic, budgetary, management initiatives, and directives.
You will develop and implement overall program requirements based on new or revised legislation.
You will analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle.
You will make determinations on resources to accomplish program objectives and apply technical expertise to various levels of operations.
You will develop and implement improvement and efficiency strategies for programming, budgeting and procurement based on findings from key program specialists and analysts; leads efforts for these studies and analysis.
You will direct and evaluate complex studies and develop new methods and procedures to measure program results, and effectiveness.
