What are we looking for? Three years of experience in reservation or booking experience in the travel or hospitality industry or related field. Must be ARC certified or obtain the certification within the year. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to deal with all classes of people. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. May be required to successfully complete, obtain, and maintain Tier 3 level background check investigation. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
What to Expect Performs and/or assists the operation of the Information, Tickets & Tours (ITT) / Travel Agency office. Handles all aspects of patron's requests to include transportation, hotel accommodations, food service, and recreational pursuits. Provides the ITT Manager administrative support with month end inventory counts, credit card purchasing/reconciling, submission of month-end local Finance/Shared Services Center (SSC) paperwork, operates a POS system, maintenance control of ticket stock, ordering and receiving of tickets in the TMS system. Maintains airline records daily, completes settlements weekly, reconciles ARC (Airline Reporting Corp.) and UATP accounts, oversee ticketing for the 3 branches under Camp Lejeune-New River (Camp Pendleton, Cherry Point and Parris Island). Shall be proficient in both domestic and international travel. Prepare and distribute monthly Amadeus service bills to the branches for payment. May be required to travel. May operate a motor vehicle to transport passengers. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs. independently and objects over 45 lbs. with assistance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
