One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Performing data analytic functions such as data analysis and exploration, data cleansing and preparation, creating data visualizations/dashboards/reports; examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting data, records, and reports; or advising or assisting management on accounting and financial management matters. You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
Performs and oversees the effort to organize, coordinate, evaluate, review for compliance, and make recommendations on findings regarding several IT Investments concurrently.
Provides IT Investment policy, guidance, instruction and provide training to IT Project/System Managers and other IT personnel.
Serves as primary draftsman and subject matter expert for policy, guidance and training, related to the DFAS Clinger Cohen Act (CCA) program.
Serves as primary administrator of DFAS records in the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR).
Ensures that a formal assessment, verification, and formal confirmation by DFAS CIO are available at each of the investment Milestone Decision Reviews prior to the issuance of approval.
