Opportunity
Responsible for extending a friendly greeting and farewell to guests and members and providing prompt and knowledgeable customer service. 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Hotel Front Desk Agent I: I. Guest Registration/Departure A. Prompt, cheerful and proper greeting of guests.  B. Register guests in and out of applicable software system(s).  C. Provide guests with information on the venue and resort.  D. Use guest name frequently. II. Cashiering  A. Handle all monetary transactions at the front desk as appropriate according to cash  handling guidelines.  B. Accurately post or refund guest charges and fees. III. Informational Services  A. Provide courteous response to special requests. B. Knowledgeable about property, surrounding area, local attractions, and shopping.  C. Responsible for the enforcement of venue policies and procedures.  D. Respond appropriately during emergencies and disturbances (know who to contact, if  outside assistance is needed, appropriate documentation, etc.).  E. Be knowledgeable of all H&RE Group programs, events and classes and respond to  inquiries.  F. Monitor lobby traffic.  G. Adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines. IV. Miscellaneous  A. Act as switchboard operator after regular scheduled hours. B. Perform miscellaneous administrative jobs as assigned.  C. Responsible for all opening and closing procedures when scheduled.  D. Complete special projects as assigned by leaders. V. Guest Room Reservations  A. Respond to reservation requests made by guests.  B. Explain rate structure, available rooms, facilities, and services.  C. Knowledge of all facilities and hours of operations.  D. Record and conduct guest room wake-up calls.
