Job Description:
You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the CYBERSECURITY DIVISION of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD DAHLGREN.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Employing cyber security principles and practices to manage (e.g., plan, implement, coordinate, monitor) information technology (IT) security defense strategies designed to protect IT infrastructure; applying systems security certification and accreditation requirements and processes to identify vulnerabilities, risks and protection needs for networks, systems, and platforms. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will ensure all systems security operations and maintenance activities (patching, updating, scanning, STIGs, and continuous monitoring activities) are properly executed and documented.
You will mitigate and correct security deficiencies.
You will perform all aspects of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process in support of SCSTC accreditation program.
You will develop cybersecurity guidelines, processes, and procedures for Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) Domain's equipment and networks.
