This position is located at Community Recreation Division (Sports Office), Fort Bragg, NC. 1. Experience that demonstrated the ability to apply the principles of sports, fitness and aquatics. 2. Experience in planning and administering sports, fitness and aquatics program. 3. Experience in a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports. This experience may have been gained managing or administering a sports program in a community, industrial activity, school or college; or planning, teaching, or evaluating a physical education curriculum for a secondary or higher academic level. Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade. 4. Ability to make decisions IAW Army and DOD policies. 5. Ability to generate and maintain effective relationships with outside agencies. 6. Strong communication skills required. Ability to write various staff office documents. 7. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc., required.
Ensures the program adheres to current military and installation regulations, standard operating procedures, and protocol.
Responsible for organizing, scheduling, and publicizing activities and programs, to include special events based upon customer interest, command directives and available resources.
Responsible for the daily operation of all fitness facilities, outdoor sports facilities and fields, and aquatic facilities.
Responsible for all staffing requirements within the sports, fitness and aquatic program area.
