You will serve as a MANAGER in the Expeditionary Warfare Weapons & Energy Systems Department (JX), for the Weapons Systems Development Division (JXP) or the Experimentation and Assessment Division (JXR) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional scientist or engineer providing technical guidance on engineering or scientific projects and operations (e.g. short and long-term planning, setting priorities, estimating resources) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of programs and initiatives for the sustainment of an organizations operations.
