Minimum Qualification Criteria: Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and requirements; various office skills; and the ability to apply such skills in a way that increases the effectiveness of others. Must have progressively responsible work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform in such capacity. Positions that have a typing requirement require that the incumbent type a minimum 40 words per minute Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point software. *Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above to be considered for this job position** Highly Qualified Criteria: Knowledge and demonstrated experience executing Administrative Support for Business Operations standards, policies, procedures, and practices at Division Level. Demonstrated proficiency using NAF information systems (i.e., DCPDS, AUTONOA, EMPRESS, FASCLAS, Rec Trak) and experience as a Super User for Payroll (i.e., Blueforce/EPAY) Minimum 3 Years experience working in Business Operation and/or Community Recreation program(s) ***Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the Highly qualified criteria above to be considered for this position. Provides support and assistance to supervisor and, in some cases, his/her subordinate staff by performing varied general office duties auxiliary to the work of the organization.
Serves as the principal office administrative support assistant operating independently of any other such position in the office.
Typical clerical and procedural duties of positions in this series include: maintaining records of leave and attendance; receiving and controlling incoming correspondence; maintaining information needed for budget purposes.
Administrative support duties typically provided by secretaries include: composing complex, but non-technical correspondence; Maintaining personnel training records.
Maintains suspense records to insure commitments are completed as required.
