Job Description:
You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX), Electro-Optic Technology Division (JXQ), Product Support Airborne & Expeditionary Branch (JXQZ), Airborne Section (JXQZL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing, coordinating, and implementing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) acquisition processes and procedures to support life-cycle phases of weapons systems for the improved operational readiness of programs. You will provide monthly briefs for product support package improvements, engineering improvements, and supply metrics to the Reliability Control Board (RCB).
You will lead a team; demonstrating strong leadership abilities and assist in project management tasks.
You will prepare presentations, drafting technical directives, managing the disposition and incorporation of Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDR), overseeing inventory management, and defending and managing budgets and financial reports.
You will interface with stakeholders to ensure sustainment concerns are addressed to support supply and maintenance shortfalls.
You will communicate with the contracting officer on a routine basis regarding contractor oversight and performance and maintains required documentation to support monitoring contractor performance.
You will review contractor invoices and validates that all charges are allowable, allocatable, and reasonable.
