Job Description:
This detail is located in the Management Directorate, Office of Intake and Document Production, Innovation and Quality Division. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will assess the effectiveness of Office of Intake and Document Production programs and operations to evaluate the productivity and efficiency of agency wide processes, informational material, and document production systems to inform continuous improvement.

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT NOT TO EXCEED ONE (1) YEAR BUT MAY BE EXTENDED AN ADDITIONAL YEAR UP TO A TOTAL OF FIVE (5) YEARS. GS-11: The desired experience for the gs-11 level would include the following duties: Actively participates in special studies, task forces, and workgroups to recommend and implement actions that support the achievement of organizational objectives. Conducts comprehensive quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency and compliance with established policies and requirements. Assists in the development of foundational standards for ongoing initiatives aimed at streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, consistency, and security. GS-12: The desired experience for the GS-12 level would include the following duties: Collaborates with an array of internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, develop innovative solutions, and address organizational challenges to foster continuous improvement and alignment with strategic objectives. Performs analysis and application of established policies to ensure work processes align with evolving technologies and continuously improves methods and practices. Develops clear and concise documentation and produces essential materials that enhance the office's efficiency and effectiveness. GS-13: The desired experience for the GS-13 level would include the following duties: Leads strategic committees and cross-functional teams to develop and implement initiatives that advance the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. Organizes and delivers comprehensive briefings, presentations, and communications to supervisors and executive management, analyzing the potential impacts of various instructions, policies, and program changes to inform critical decision making. Designs and implements effective planning and control mechanisms to manage complex operational logistics and data flows, conducting thorough reviews of all operational data to ensure adherence to established guidelines and requirements. The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
Responsible for individually and collaboratively planning and organizing the development, evaluation, and implementation of related policies and operational procedures with an agency-wide impact.
Interprets regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure USCIS intake processes comply with agency standards.
Analyzes the impact of forms, instructions, rulemakings, memos, policies, and other program changes on current and planned intake operations.
Provides comprehensive coordination and communication efforts with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless agency intake operations and project continuity.
Designs studies to identify functional issues within business processes and proposes effective solutions and best practices to drive operational efficiency and performance improvements.
