Job Description:

You will serve as an INDUSTRIAL SPCEIALIST in the NAVY PRICE FIGHTER DEPARTMENT of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying in-depth knowledge of industrial analysis, logistics support, and planning, programming, and procurement procedures. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Providing expert technical guidance, direction, and strategies for the execution of high-visibility, high complexity issues associated with Performance Based Logistics (PBL) acquisition contracts; 2) Applying comprehensive knowledge of acquisition/procurement, contracting, and business specializations such as cost and price analysis and review of funding sources to properly evaluate contractor proposals; 3) Facilitating and developing solutions to critical problems; and 4) Analyzing contractor performance data and applying analytical/evaluative techniques and Earned Value Management (EVM) policies and methodologies of performance measurement to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of acquisition programs. You will be responsible for the execution of tasks associated with the evaluation of technical proposals submitted by defense contractors.
You will analyze contractor performance data including systems engineering, software engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain management, industrial analysis, and EVM performance for cost trends.
You will conduct investigations and analysis on various Directorate/Command level matters issuing advice and recommendations to high level executives.
You will manage assigned projects and programs throughout their life cycle.
You will provide technical information, assistance, and advice concerning manufacturing facilities, machinery and equipment, methods, materials, and manufacturing standards for the industrial production of major weapon systems and spare parts.
You will act as the subject matter expert for industrial, manufacturing, and production issues related to NAVSUP WSS and HSC procurements to safeguard the best interests of the Navy.
