Job Description:
You will serve as a Project Business Agent in the Business & Strategic Planning Office (C1200) or the Nuclear Business & Strategic Planning Office (C1200N) of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the execution and coordination of planning and production work to ensure compliance and mitigate problems or trends related to project or fiscal performance. You will function as the Shipyard point of contact with customers for work definition, pricing, and negotiation.
You will analyze and provide mitigation of problems related to fiscal performance of assigned projects.
You will develop, conduct, and coordinate financial briefs.
You will negotiate with customers to obtain funding for planning, material ordering, component pre-fabrication, and work execution.
You will initiate, issue, receive, or approve funding documents as appropriate.
You will exercise sole responsibility for oversight of budget functions involving the formation, justification, and execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects assigned by the Business Officer.
You will analyze Ships Work Line Item Number (SWLIN) estimates, predicted end costs, and work completion costs to maintain fiscal control.
