YOU WILL SERVE AS A LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST IN THE MISSIONS SYSTEMS GROUP, MISSIONS SYSTEMS LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT, UAV/ELECTRONICS PROTECTION SYS/ELECTRONIC ATTACK SYS, UAV/ELECTRONICS PROTECTION SYSTEMS OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is equivalent to GS-14, Step 10: $142, 488 - $185,234
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide senior-level logistics leadership to the Airborne Electronic Attack (Tactical Jamming System) team within the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems ( PMA-234); 2) Responsible to the PMA-234 Product Support Manager; 3) Responsible for supervisory functions in either an immediate or intermediate capacity and coordinates the efforts of three or more employees; 4) Establish long-term task priorities, determines work procedures and methods, and guides employees and/or supervisors' work; 5) Staff may include Federal civilian employees, military or uniformed service employees, volunteers, or other non-contractor personnel; 6) May also perform personal technical work and operate as a working supervisor. This position supports the Next Generation Jammer, Mid Band (NGJ-MB) IPT in PMA-234 as the APML. This is a GS-14 equivalent, non-supervisory position. You will formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system.
You will exercise resource responsibility/authority over support budgets through the NAVAIR Budget process.
You will provide cost-supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on knowledge of the weapon system.
You will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support management to the weapon system.
You will exercise management control and direction over the planning, implementation, and execution of modification programs and maintenance programs.
