Job Summary The Global Cybersecurity Operations Execution Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the execution of cybersecurity strategies and advancing a mature cyber risk management framework within the Global Security Operations Center. This position leads cross-functional initiatives, oversees operational performance metrics, and ensures alignment with strategic goals across global teams. The role emphasizes program governance, process optimization, and executive-level reporting to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making. Major Responsibilities Lead the execution of cybersecurity strategic initiatives and roadmap development, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management objectives. Partner with cybersecurity, risk, and control teams to coordinate remediation efforts, track progress, and resolve operational gaps. Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that reflect risk appetite and residual risk, enabling transparent reporting to senior leadership and governance bodies. Oversee complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes are communicated effectively to stakeholders. Continuously assess and evolve cybersecurity strategy through targeted operational initiatives and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate process improvement workshops and stakeholder interviews to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements across business operations. Conduct end-to-end business process evaluations, prioritizing improvement opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals. Deliver actionable recommendations through structured analysis (e.g., gap analysis, cost-benefit analysis, business requirements definition). Integrate industry frameworks and best practices into operational workflows, ensuring compliance and adaptability to sector changes. Monitor and interpret developments in cybersecurity programs, regulatory requirements, and internal organizational changes that influence reporting and execution. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience also considered. 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, program management, project management or risk management, ideally within financial services. Proven experience in strategic planning, program execution, and executive-level reporting. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize effectively. Skilled in developing briefing materials, managing logistics, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency through technology and process innovation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred: Experience working in Japanese corporate environments or proficiency in Japanese language. Preferred: Experience managing global, cross-cultural teams and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. The typical base pay range for this role is between $123K - $173K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
