About the Position: Serves as project manager, program manager, and/or principal technical specialist for the functional creation, development, training, extension, operation, evaluation, and/or maintenance of one or more logistics operating, information or reporting systems and their ADP application.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Experience developing, designing and implementing an automated logistic system; 2) Maintain, monitor and update automated logistics systems to ensure accuracy; and 3) Perform system analysis and test functionality to provide recommendations and/or updates to senior level management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Oral Communication Support Equipment Technical Data Training and Training Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Reviews, interprets, and determines scope and character of higher echelon logistics policies, procedures, and regulations which affect existing and future logistics systems.
Coordinates with the functional user in the formulation of the automation requirement, the concept of system development, and the Mission Element Need Statement.
Conducts pre-conversion surveys at user sites to ensure user orientation and preparation for receipt of the system.
Resolves survey issues at the site or elevates resolution to senior command management.
Plans and schedules deployment of documentation (including changes) to users.
Provides functional systems advice and guidance to staff and installations.
