Job Description:
You will serve as an ADMINSITRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the In-Service Radar Program Management Division (PM2) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14/15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-05 (GS 13/14 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing logistical operations to include support life cycle cost analysis, modeling product support strategies, and executing product support budgets for a naval weapon system program. You will serve as the Air and Missile Defense Rader (AMDR) Project Manager.
You will provide guidance to the Logistics Associate Program Manager (PAPM).
You will use modeling to develop product support strategies and maintain traceability between weapon system's availability and life cycle support cost.
You will perform enterprise Product Life-cycle Management and Integrated Decision Environment (ePLM IDE) analysis.
You will serve as the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Readiness and Sustainment Cost Lead.
You will oversee the management of comprehensive program schedules.
You will be responsible for directing the analysis and evaluation of present and future product support requirements.
You will share advice regarding cost, schedule, and technical performance elements with the Above Water Senors Directorate, industry partners and other Naval Commands of concern.
