Job Description:
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the READINESS & FLEET ANALYTICS DIV, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Utilizing training systems acquisition policies and processes; 2) Participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), budget planning and execution, or providing programmatic guidance to stakeholders; 3) Working with training devices, simulators, and courseware development (e.g., computer-based, web-based training); and 4) Developing or managing training products, such as Front-End Analyses, Training Systems Requirements Analyses, and the identification and documentation of military and civilian training requirements for weapons or systems. You will be responsible for the logistics planning, processes and documentation that are executed during the acquisition process to ensure that the desired level of logistics supportability is achieved.
You will establish processes and guidelines that ensure that the supportability analyses performed are logical, analytical, repeatable and auditable, and result in successful identification of maintenance requirements and support alternatives.
You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations associated with supportability and logistics in the acquisition of aircraft, aircraft systems, and weapon systems.
You will develop common processes, procedures, and tools for planning, implementing, and sustaining cost-wise readiness improvement initiatives.
You will provide subject matter expert advice and facilitate the application of logistics concepts and policies across the program, in support of program goals.
