Key Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.
Your day-to-day activities will include coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation, and facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
You will be expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform, and be responsible for team decisions.
Engaging with multiple teams and contributing to key decisions will be essential, as well as providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Advanced proficiency in Agile Project Management is required.
Advanced proficiency in Scrum is recommended.
Additionally, advanced proficiency in Agile Process Coaching and Agile Methods (ADM for Distributed Agile Development) is suggested.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging feedback and open communication.
Utilize metrics to track team progress and identify areas for enhancement.
Support team members in their professional development by providing guidance and resources.
Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a collaborative team environment.
