To qualify for a Career Program Administrator, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Analyzing and assessing the adequacy/effectiveness of formal training programs. Providing consulting and troubleshooting services to resolve complex program administration responsibilities. Utilizing knowledge of employee development, curriculum development, and training procedures, principles, concepts, and practices, to apply them to assigned programs. Planning, organizing, and assisting with group studies/trainings. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Priority Placement Program (PPP) DoD Retained Grade Preference (RGP): In order to receive this preference, you must choose to apply using the "Priority Placement Program, DoD Retained Grade Preference (RGP)" eligibility. Developing and implementing program administration/evaluation of the DLA Troop Support Pathways to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program.
Briefing executive-level management on the programs, procedures, and policies for recruiting, selecting and developing PaCE employees.
Collaborating with the DLA Training Center (DTC) and monitoring the recruitment/selection process for prospective PaCE employees.
Establishing milestones for overall goals and objectives of the DLA Troop Support PaCE Development Program and reporting accomplishments to higher-level officials.
Coordinating extensively with a variety of internal and external personnel on all issues of professional development, career evaluation, rotational assignments, training, and full program life cycle support.
Determining, justifying, and administering resource requirements, funding, and manpower for the DLA Troop Support PaCE Development Program.
Overseeing the overall needs of DLA Troop Support's acquisition, supply, and technical workforce training.
Providing guidance and advisory services to all DLA Troop Support organizations and top management officials on matters dealing with the assigned PaCE programs.
Implementing policy, instructions and procedures governing the overall management of the assigned programs (e.g. interpreting higher level directives, and developing implementation plans).
