You will serve as the Senior Civil Utilities Engineer at Naval Base Coronado Public Works Department of NAVFAV Southwest.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting long term and short term resource planning to ensure fluctuation work requirements can be accomplished with resources; Developing specifications and planning criteria for major facility projects; Developing special reports and briefings for senior agency officials, covering short, medium and long range facility planning and logistical goals; AND assisting with budget planning, programming, prioritization, preparation, execution, implementation and tracking distribution of funding. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will develop civil utility projects for planning, design and construction of civil utility systems throughout Naval Base Coronado area of responsibility.
You will ensure the design criteria and standard design guides, including changes are implemented.
You will furnish technical advice to the project managers on the proper procedures to follow in managing projects.
You will initiate actions to avoid anticipated or actual problems detrimental to the program.
You will determine the impact of cost and schedule impacts of proposed changes in the program directed by customers.
