Job Description:

In addition to the basic education requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, managing technical control over the design and development of weapon systems, subsystems, and associated support equipment, including the integration of multiple projects within a program office. Providing technical program management for the planning, analysis, and evaluation of contractor engineering efforts. Managing systems that may be comprised of a multitude of components (i.e. a combination of mechanical, propulsion, ordnance, chemical, materials, electrical, and electronic elements). You will serve as a General Engineer who applies professional engineering knowledge and analysis of engineering problems in launcher systems, research and development, problem investigation and analysis of Trident II Launcher issues.
You will act as technical consultant in the launcher Program integration section on matters related to system security engineering, production, service life, reliability, testing and maintainability of the launcher subsystem components.
You will serve as the lead systems engineer for the launcher programs and applies scientific and engineering principles to identify security vulnerabilities and minimize or contain risks associated with these vulnerabilities.
You will manage efforts in protecting critical program information, developing and implementing program protection plans and supply chain risk management, anti-tamper, and cybersecurity to safeguard SWS program critical information.
You will direct feasibility studies to analyze, evaluate, and determine practicability and adaptability of proposed solutions.
You will enforce standards of quality for government and contractor staff in order to maintain schedule and ensure project and program goals and objectives are kept on target and are in compliance with guidelines and regulations.
