Job Description:

This PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) position, is located in the Logistics function of an ARNG, Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) and is part of the CA AASF Los Alamitos.
General Experience: Possess experience, education or training which provides the ability to reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, in: scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities; Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility; Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes; Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Ability To Provide Production Support Services Aircraft Maintenance Production and Processing Reasoning (Clerical/Technical)
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-9, is to develop, organize, and integrate plans, schedules and resources for logistic support of AASF and unit maintenance operations. This position is the focal point for compilation, maintenance, and application of information pertaining to the AASF logistics capability and capacity to maintain aircraft availability and readiness and advises the AASF Logistics Management Officer/Supervisory Maintenance Test Pilot on matters pertaining to maintenance logistics management production. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
