Job Description:

You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst of NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Conduct evaluations of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommending alternatives for corrective action; 2) Utilize financial systems or related databases to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data for the organization; 3) Interpret, assess and project potential impact of new/revised congressional legislation; 4) Provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; 5) Develop, determine and/or interpret budgetary policies and practices; 6) Monitor program budget to ensure availability/sufficiency of funds; 7) Provide leadership in accounting, budget and financial functions. You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develops and issues implementing procedures.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action.
