You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the TACTICAL READINESS & TRAINING DIVISION of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods or techniques to evaluate submarine training programs to identify and remediate non-compliance to training standards and requirements in support of wartime readiness. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of formal training and manning requirements that meet the tactical needs of the submarine force in support of the partnership between Australia, United Kingdom, and United States (AUKUS).
You will evaluate formal training programs for all Commander Submarine Force U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMSUBPAC) afloat commands.
You will conduct and present detailed analysis of TYCOM training and assessment data to high-ranking officials.
You will develop, implement, and manage an annual training travel budget to meet all TYCOM assigned formal training requirements.
