You will serve as a EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT in the MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee and develop administrative policies, projects, and procedures for command support activities including coordinating administrative support staff actions, tasks, and administering the office operating budget for senior level officials and coordinating high level conferences and visits for the command. You will serve as the Executive Assistant and Command Staff Secretary for MCB Hawaii’s Command and Staff (CoS).
You will serve in a multi-disciplinary capacity that includes performing the functions of Director of Protocol /Special Command Event Coordinator, in addition to the primary functions of Executive Assistant.
You will be responsible for coordinating command policies, programs and procedures for the CO’s Staff Directorates which are comprised of sixteen Directorates and Special Staff Sections.
You will coordinate billeting arrangements, transportation of personnel, escort duties, office call appointments, and liaison with Command Sections and outside entities are in place to support Distinguished Visitors (DVs) and VIPs.
You will be fully involved in the coordination of the management of planning efforts by assisting in the initial establishment and building of the calendar of events, milestones, and conducting periodic reviews to ensure planning is on track.
You will manage procedures, administration, timeliness and quality of command actions and correspondence to enhance effective communication across the entire command.
