Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) providing administrative assistance support in one or more of the following areas: training, medical readiness, personnel actions, financial actions, supply, or logistics; 2) coordinate logistical and training support with internal personnel and/or organizations; and 3) prepare various written correspondence to be briefed to organizational personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Applicants who are current Federal employees or who are eligible for Reinstatement may be able to qualify with experience equivalent to the second lower grade, (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Fundamentals and Operations of Military and Civilian Pay Organizational Awareness Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Perform daily administrative functions in support of the organization’s readiness program.
Provide guidance to personnel on changes to organizational regulations and directives.
Utilize various automation systems to identify financial management program deficiencies.
Analyze account report system to maintain inventory.
Coordinate training programs for personnel in accordance with organizational directives and guidance.
Manage the travel program for the organization.
Provide pay guidance to organizational personnel.
