Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide guidance to contract specialists and program/customer personnel in planning, negotiating, and administering contracts; providing contract support for Major Acquisition Programs (Acquisition Category (ACAT) I programs); and awarding and administering contracts and obligating funds by exercising a Contracting Officer's warrant. You will hold an array of staff management, development, and workload allocation responsibilities, as well as obligations to support a broad spectrum of leadership initiatives, such as 2.0 Strategic Planning and Policy Development etc.
You will strategically plan and prioritize the application of limited contracting resources against a customer portfolio’s current and future program requirements.
You will utilize contracting expertise to provide business advice and collaborate with customers and key stakeholders including Competencies, Program Managers, and Program Executive Officers as well as Office of General Counsel.
You will provide expertise and workload data to update 2.0 resourcing models and assess the level of resources required to support the successful and timely completion of all procurement actions and advocate for additional manpower resources.
You will maintain continuous communication with customers and key stakeholders by various means, including meetings, program management reviews, and program office off-sites.
You will utilize all the Directorate's tools and systems to include AMS PMT and workload modeling to track workload and maintain metric reporting, and to present information and status updates to customers as well as 2.0 and 2.0A.
You will take all appropriate steps to ensure that all contract actions assigned to Procurement Contracting Officers and Contract Specialists are completed to requisite levels of regulatory compliance.
