You will serve as a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC in the ANTENNA REPAIR SHOP (67H), COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEMS (CCS) ELECTRONICS REPAIR DIVISION (CODE 730), WEAPONS REPAIR DEPARTMENT (CODE 700) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION SUCH AS: Troubleshoot, install, repair and maintain complex electronic systems where circuit theory must be used. set-up and operate computer controlled automatic test equipment to recognize deficiencies in automated test equipment, programming or unit under test. diagnose problems and determine corrective action for complex encoder/decoder units and complete system. Overhaul, install, modify, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment. Interpret drawings and schematic diagrams to repair electronic equipment.
