The primary purpose of this position is to assist journey level utility systems repairer-operators by performing the simpler and more routine duties of repairing and operating utility systems for federal buildings and facilities. The incumbent will perform assistance work incidental and/or preparatory to that of higher graded repairer-operator of utility systems such as air conditioning, heating, wastewater treatment and water treatment. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately January through September, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.
