Job Description:
You will serve as a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Commander, Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), Command Information Office (CIO), N6 of NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating and recommending cyber security practice and methodologies to be applied throughout the enclave life cycle to ensure protective effectiveness is being met and maintained. 2) Ensuring that enclave system(s) and network(s) designs support the incorporation of DoD directed cyber vulnerability solutions, e.g., IAVAs. 3) Generating NETC enterprise domain security design features and provide input to implementation plans and standard operating procedures. You will develop and interprets information and protection requirements for the entire NETC.
You will provide technical expertise on mitigation and security-in-depth engineering to protect IS systems for any identified vulnerabilities.
You will serve as the alternate NETC Information System Security Manager (on an as needed basis).
