THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST, Position Description Number PDD1975000 and is part of the WY 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 LRS. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 6: Current and prior military service members separated from any branch of the military to include US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, Reserves, and National Guard components. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-07). Demonstrated ability researching documents or other resources to coordinate inventory requirements. Knowledge of stock levels, inventory, shipping, receiving, requisitioning and requirements of supplies and equipment. Experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment. Knowledge of supply management, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Demonstrated experience with cost estimates, budgets, or funding management. Experience conducting extensive and exhaustive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for supply activities. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement. COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Enlisted: Min: E-1 Max: E-6 Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC 2S0X1, Material Management. Enlisted 2S0X1 ASVAB Requirements: Must possess a minimum score of "41" on the Administrative OR a minimum score of "44" on the General portions of the ASVAB. Medical Profile PULHES must not be greater than 333333. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted. DRIVER'S LICENSE: Must possess a valid state's driver's license.
This position is in the 153d Wyoming Air National Guard, 153d Air Base Group, 153d Logistics Readiness Squadron, Materiel Management Flight, Equipment Accountability Element of the Customer Support Section. The Equipment Accountability Element's primary purpose is to ensure accountability of in-use equipment and provide management control, oversight, coordination, and implementation of all equipment accounted for by the WY ANG Assistant United States Property and Fiscal Office Accountable Officer. This position is the primary point of contact for wing/base/supported organizations equipment accountability. Serves as a technical advisor to the 153d Airlift Wing Commander, staff, base personnel, state, and supported Geographically Separated Units (GSUs) regarding policy and procedure pertaining to equipment accountability. A broad knowledge of general supply, storage, distribution, and inventory / accountability specializations is required; in addition, knowledge of Federal, State, and USAF accountability and report of survey rules and regulations to ensure regulatory compliance. (1) Schedules and conduct formal organizational visits annually to each supported organizational account both on and off the installation to ensure custodians are adequately performing their accountability responsibilities. (2) Ensures accountability of equipment assets purchased with the Government Purchase Card and/or through Base Contracting. (3) Attends base deployment concept briefings to identify organizations deploying equipment. (4) Identifies, coordinates and monitors War Readiness Materials (WRM) and mobility equipment requirements to ensure all authorizations are on hand, on order, or included in appropriate budget document. (5) Ensures Block III (Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS) Computer Based, and supplemental training is conducted for all Equipment/Special Purpose Recoverables Authorized Maintenance (SPRAMS) custodians and Block IV training for deployed custodians. ** This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties. **
