This SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST position, is located in the Military Personnel Office (MILPO) of the Army National Guard (ARNG) and is part of the CA JFHQ G3.
General Experience: Must possess a valid understanding of the basic principles and concepts of human resources functions and programs. SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 level experience executing personnel programs and Human Resources Information Systems and advising supervisors and managers; Experience in personnel and manpower core competencies; Experience in applying program policies, directives, publications, and training manuals; and have at least 24 months experience with human resources programs related to federal civilian or military personnel programs. THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, INDEFINITE POSITION Indefinite appointment cannot exceed 5 years. Selectee may be non-competitively converted to permanent status if/when funding becomes available or position becomes unencumbered. The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-11, is to supervise and manage one or more of the following human resource programs: Mobilization Readiness including Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP); Soldier Readiness Check (SRC)/Mobilization Deployment Readiness Exercise (MODRE); Mobilization Readiness to include liaising directly with the assigned Mobilization and Demobilization Station of a unit, the corresponding Training Support Battalion (TSB), respective Army Regional Command (1A), the respective Mobilization Brigade, and internal mobilization station tenant agencies. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
