This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA DISA-HC/Infrastructure/Sustainment LOB.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-11, your resume must describe at least one year of experience or education/experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Developing written administrative and programmatic policies and standard operating procedures for ensuring effective management. Maintaining the Senior Leaders' calendar, including scheduling appointments with authority. Serving as liaison for internal and external meetings, working with various action officers and other support personnel in coordinating appropriate scheduling, site requirements, agenda, visual aids, etc., and assessing after action for a wide variety of forums. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.
Specialist provides executive level assistance and support in all matters pertaining to the operations and management for Hosting and Compute (HaC) Senior Leadership by performing a broad range of planning, administrative, and technical tasks.
Coordinates the administrative efforts of the office and provides managerial continuity on policies and procedures.
Facilitates communication, data collection, and proper execution of reporting requirements and provides coordination and data exchange with higher headquarters.
Ensures sufficient managerial, administrative, and office support is available to accomplish the mission of HaC Leadership.
Reviews incoming and outgoing correspondence provides applicable executive summaries, interpretation of policy implications, or cogent recommendations pertaining to content.
Prepares and/or coordinates the preparation, release control and/or distribution of all correspondence, reports, briefings, and other documents.
